This is an accurate reflection of the conversations that are being had in the rooms I’ve been in. I’ll admit to a bit of confirmation bias there. I have had exactly one rational conversation with a Trump supporter, and even then, I couldn’t buy into her logic, but I completely understood her perspective.

The point of this article was never to dissuade anyone from voting for Trump. It was to say not to expect me to accept my abusers and oppressors without fixing the problems that they created.

I know who my allies are. They have certainly showed up in the past week.
